UK Special Delivery: For orders requiring UK Special Delivery, costs will be charged at £10.95.
Postage Surcharges: Add £2.00 for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and UK Islands.
South Africa Postage: International registered post only – £10.00.
UK Delivery
Non-personalised orders usually arrive within 3–5 working days of being placed. You will receive an email upon despatch.
Depending on weight and value, we may use a courier service requiring a signature. For Royal Mail services, please wait 5 working days from despatch before contacting our Customer Service Team.
Personalised, mounted medals and engraving orders are usually despatched within 28 days. Special order items may take longer; we’ll advise at the time of order.
International Delivery
Orders are sent via Royal Mail Air Mail or an international courier depending on weight/value. We’ll notify you of extra charges prior to despatch.
Air Mail (under 2kg)
- Europe: delivery in 2–7 working days
- Rest of World: delivery in 7–10 working days
Import Tax: Non-EU deliveries may be subject to local import taxes, the responsibility of the recipient. Unpaid customs may result in item return or destruction. Refunds exclude original postage and related costs.
BFPO Addresses
We accept BFPO orders at UK Standard Delivery rates. Restrictions may apply—we will notify you if affected.
For BFPO outside the EU: request VAT refund by email within 3 months of despatch with your order number.
For BFPO inside the EU: VAT refunds require a “certificate of entitlement” per HMRC guidelines. Signed and stamped confirmation by official personnel is needed.
Returns and Refunds
We take great pride in the craftsmanship and presentation of our commemorative products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 14 days of receipt, provided it meets the conditions below:
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original packaging.
- Exclusions: We are unable to accept returns for used goods, personalised items, or custom-made products, except where faulty.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order confirmation is required with all returns.
If your item arrives damaged or you believe it to be faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue swiftly.
Unwanted Goods
Return non-personalised items within 14 days for a refund. Items must be ‘as new’, including packaging/components. Customer covers return postage.

Refunds processed within 14 days. Include a letter explaining the reason for return.
Items not in ‘as new’ condition may be returned to you or, at our discretion, a credit note may be issued instead of a refund. Certain services (mounting, engraving, personalised or made-to-order items) are excluded unless faulty.
Personalised Goods
Custom items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. These include embroidered, engraved, framed, and printed products. Please double-check all details before ordering.
Faulty Goods
Report faulty or incorrect items within 30 days by calling 01952 510053 or emailing info@awardmedals.com.
We’ll guide you through return options and refund postage upon receipt. For issues after 30 days, contact us for further help.
We do not accept returns in person at our offices.

Christmas Returns Policy
Items purchased between 15 Oct and 25 Dec can be returned until 31 Jan, provided they are unopened and in perfect condition. Contact us before 15 Jan. Recipients may receive a credit note matching the original order value in lieu of refund, if preferred.
